Delivery and Installation of solar power system including cold-room for the morgue within the JTH

Scope of work

This project funded and supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) includes the electrical installation, the implementation of solar power systems and the supplier as well as construction of the cold room. The aim of this ICRC supported project is to renovate the largest morgue in Juba, South Sudan, to help face death with dignity. Since the crisis in 2013, the morgue has been damaged and stopped working.

  • Procurement of the components
  • Set up of 62 m³ cold-room (Installation, and commissioning of outdoor and indoor cold-room unit)
  • All electrical works including air conditioning system for the office, sockets lights etc.

  • 86 kWh battery bank with high reliable and maintenance free OPzV type industrial grad batteries
  • Victron Energy 3 x Inverter / Charger Quattro 48/10000/140
  • Monitoring system with cabling
  • Surge arrestor/surge protection device for DC and AC circuit
